New scholarships with CONACyT for Mexican postgraduates
During a recent visit to Cambridge, the Director General of CONACyT Mexico signed an agreement with the Cambridge Overseas Trust to co-fund 10 students from Mexico on PhD courses in Cambridge. The awards will be made mainly in fields relevant to the work of CONACyT - biotechnology, energy and environment, engineering, computer science, IT and applied mathematics.
CONACyT was established in 1970, as the government advisory body in charge of implementing public policies on behalf of the Federal Government, to promote scientific and technological research, innovation and technological development in Mexico.
